Sponsorship Opportunities with W.V.A.C.

 

Unlike traditional TV stations, a public access channel is prohibited from showing commercials. The alternative that public access offers is the sponsorship. Sponsorship is a financial contribution to the station. In return for your contribution, your business is recognized with a screen that appears on our community message board. This screen may show your business name, address, telephone number, hours of operation, picture and a brief description of your business.

Your screen will show each time the message board shows in its entirety. The message board typically takes approximately 20 minutes to show from start to finish and shows whenever the station does not have scheduled programming and when there is time between shows. This means that your business name will be shown to over 5,500 homes . Dollar for dollar this is one of the most inexpensive methods of getting your name and service out to people in your service area. We program an average of 8 to 12 hours per day so your name will end up being shown an average of 60 times per day or 1800 times per month. This figures out to be about 1 cents per 13-second exposure. Try to find another method of in home exposure at this cost.
