From the program notes by Paul Walker:
"With Bach's Concerto for Four Harpsichords, arranged from a concerto
for four violins by Vivaldi, we come to the sort of music that
audiences and musicians today know best. Brad Lehman, playing the
first harpsichord part today, has recently published the results of his
research into the temperament that Bach used for tuning his
harpsichords, and our performance is among the first uses of this
temperament in modern times."

(above) The four harpsichordists sit tight while the orchestra
tunes. At the farthest harpsichord is Liz Lindau, then Paul
Walker, Brad Lehman, and finally, me.

(above) And they're off!

An exhausted but triumphant bow at the end.

My harpsichord is the one here on the far left. Its cover was
tilted up for the performance, but not removed because it was bolted on
much more permanently than the tops of the other instruments.
