The new supplement, Mythweaver: Trail Guide to the Eastern Reaches has been posted on RPG Now. Get a free large-scale version of the map from the sourcebook here.
Also, a handout of combined tables has been posted on RPG Now as a free download.
August 11, 2007: Mythweaver Random Character Generator
Remember the fun of 'rolling up a character'? Yeah, me too. To that end, I've posted a free random character generator to use with the core rules. This may be used with or in addition to the point allocation system outlined in the core rules.
August 7, 2007: The Mighty Mythweaver Index
A few people have requested an index for the core rules. I decided to expand this, and the free index includes all key rules and table references for both the core rules and the Campaign Sourcebook.
August 5, 2007: Mythweaver Alternate Dice Rules
One big change between this version of Mythweaver and the previous edition was the conversion from a 2D6 dice system to the progressive dice system using everything from D4 through D20. Now, you can have your cake and eat it too! The new Alternate Dice system allows you to convert the core rules for use with two standard 6-sided dice to resolve all rolls.
August, 2007: Mythweaver Month Part Deux
I
had so much fun with July being Mythweaver Month that I decided to do it
again… August will continue the theme of four releases from Teddy Bear
Press in four weeks. New books will be available on RPG Now every Friday
throughout August, with the following releases, each projected at 16 pages
for $1.95:
- Mythweaver:
The Book of Beasts I (released August 3) includes descriptions and
game statistics for 36 new monsters as well as helpful guidelines for
creating your own beasts for Mythweaver games.
- Mythweaver:
The House of Halazar (August 10) builds on the adventures
presented in The Gryphon Watch Adventures, including a complete
adventure for character levels 6-9, taking them into the ruins of a
wizard’s house sunken into the depths of a desolate swamp.
- Mythweaver:
The Trail Guide to the Eastern Reaches (August 17) explores the northeastern
section of the continent of Del Anon, including a map of the region, a
key to the major landmarks in the area, and hooks for adventures
throughout the realm.
- Mythweaver:
The Book of Demigods I (August 24) includes rules for character
progress beyond level 20, and rules and game statistics for the
primary gods and demigods who hold influence in Del Anon, and how to
incorporate religion into ongoing campaigns.
In addition, the Mythweaver Blog will include weekly Saturday updates called “Class Conscious”, exploring each of the five character classes of the core rules in greater detail, looking at how these can be used to create fantasy game characters using dozens of established archetypes.
