Writing on the Web / Rewriting on the Web / Plagerism on the Web
In searching for "plagarism prevention", Google came up with 14 hits - a surprisingly small number, with a relatively high number of "good results" (in the "peer review model"). The hits were so "uniform" in approach that this drove me to "DejaNews" to see what the street says about plagarism.- The Ecology of Academic Integrity In The Classroom, Carolyn S. Banning and James H. Banning, Campus Ecologist, Volume II, Number 4, 1984

- Question re plagarism, hi-goddess@home.com, rec.arts.poetry, 2000-10-19. The Goddess regularly posts poems. Now she finds a person taking a poem she wrote and claiming it as his own. What does folks think.
- Plagarism in REGENERATIVE WEBSITE, shadows@warm.umd.edu, rec.arts.drwho, 1999-04-11, reports of a case of "font" plagerism. The author of the offending site removed the designer information from the fonts, and does not provide attribution for them. Is this plagarism? [Legally, it is copyright violation.]
- Trouble in Paradise & PLAGARISM ACCUSATIONS, aboudja@yahoo.com, alt.religion.orisha, 2001-10-30, responds to plagarism charges.
