Misty was born on 13 May 1999
She was such a sweet dog.
It took me sometime to really see her for what she was but once I did I loved her more than anything.
Sadly Misty's life here was very short.
She had shown in several AKC conformation shows and did very well. Winning several Best Of Breeds
Misty gave me a wonderful litter of 7 pups one week before her 2nd Birthday. We did loose one of the pups (named Mariah) at 5 days old from a birth defect.
One week before Misty delivered her wonderful gift she had a seizure, It scared me to death as I had never seen this before.
Misty continued to have seizures until the pups were 11 weeks old, even being on Phenobarbital. I had to make a very hard decision and have Misty put to sleep at just over two years old.
I had never had to do this before and it was one of the hardest things I had ever had to do.
I kept two pups from Misty. Disney & Levi, Disney was a beautiful rough coat. She had a wonderful personality. She also had shown in 1 AKC conformation show and following in her Moms paw prints took Best of Breed (don't tell anyone she was the only Saint Bernard there that day). Sadly Disney had two seizures at about 6 months old. She is now living in Kentucky and I am told seizure free since she has been out there.
Levi was my pick pup in this litter and I loved her so much. She reminded me of her aunt Brook.
After Disney had the seizures I placed Levi with a wonderful family in PA. where she was spayed and will enjoy her life as a wonderful pet.
