The Brain Tumor Support Group of Maine meets the second Tuesday of each month from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Maine Medical Center, 22 Bramhall Street, Portland Maine, in the Dana Center Classroom 1.
There is no charge for attending meetings or for any other services.
We encourage anyone who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, their family or friends, to contact us in order to understand the services we provide. We can send information or be of help even if you never attend a support group meeting.
Please tell others about our group. Based on our experience, we believe about half of all people know someone affected by a brain tumor. It is a shame when people in need don't know where to find people who want to and can help. So please spread the word about our group.
We help people affected by primary brain tumors (tumors of the brain) and metastaes (cancers that start elsewhere in the body and spread to the brain).
