Video Editing
One of the coolest things about this whole computer revolution is that you can edit a complicated piece of video at home for a fraction of what it used to cost without sacrificing any quality. I use an Apple G4, Final Cut Pro editing software and a Sony DSR-20 DVCam deck. It works beautifully. I've done high end projects that have aired on CNN and AMC, and lower end things like birthday, wedding and promotional videos. From music videos for rock bands to retrospectives on John Wayne, it's all possible with Final Cut Pro... at a reasonable price. Everything is mastered to DVCam tape, which can be taken to any dub house and transferred to any medium.
I was originally trained to edit on cuts-only bays on deadline when I worked in local news, so i'm no stranger to time constraints. Recently, I've edited a wide variety of projects for such outlets as: CNN, DTS, The Gluey Brothers, AMC, Sony Pictures and Karate Kittie Productions.

As a freelance hire at KNBC TV, I edit hard news on a daily basis and operate their ENG microwave trucks.

I'm working on getting some clips of my work posted here in the near future.
