Many drivers have guided Sho nuff around the nation's hydroplane race courses.  Owner-driver John Shewbrooks, pictured at the left of your screen, has logged thousands of laps in this legendary hull.  Others who have driven the boat in competition or in testing include Tom Newman, John Jenkins, Tony Black, Jack Van Deman, Mark Long, Scott Anderson, Matt Hunt, Jackie Meyer, and a few others.

Current drivers are John Shewbrooks-Waverly, Ohio, Chris Cordle-Centerville, Ohio, Alan Lewis-Auckland, New Zealand, and David Pagano-Sydney, Australia.

Tom Newman drove Sho nuff in several races in the mid to late 1990s.  Chris Cordle drove the boat in several races in the years around 2001 through 2006.  Around 2000, Alan Lewis, Auckland, New Zealand, became the first foreign driver to compete in American inboard hydroplane racing in decades.  Alan drove Sho nuff at several racing in Hampton, Virginia, Cambridge, Maryland, Seattle, Washington, and Wildwood, New Jersey.

In the above left picture, Chris Cordle, is standing to the right of legendary race Wheeler Baker and Alan Lewis is pictured above right spending time with a member of his racing crew.  Below, David Pagano is pictured ready to take Sho nuff into competition.
