This section of our web page is dedicated to current activities of the race team.  The most recent news is listed first with a number of scrolling news releases.

January 2002
At this time, the team is preparing the boat and motor for another year of competition.  Winters are short and loaded with boat work each year.  Spring will be here soon.  The boat will be tested with a new front control wing in April.  Memorial Day weekend begins the six month racing schedule.

January 2004

John Shewbrooks Racing is planning another year of intense power boat racing.

2005, 2006, 2007, 2008

The boat ran in 2005, was nearly destroyed in 2006 in Waterford, Michigan, and it was not raced in 2007.  Mid year in 2008 Sho nuff will return to competition.  It is being restored by expert building John Jenkins.
