Begin by choosing a desired blank then think about whether you want the traditional feel of cork in your hand or the beauty of wood.  Reel seats are available that are turned from the same block of wood making a perfect match to a wood handle.  Consider the added special touch of a mayfly inlay on the handle.  To truly make your rod a one of a kind consider having your name etched on the rod as well as an engraved rod cap.  Beautiful high performance fly rods with blanks, wood work, and real seats all made her in America.  Woodwork is done by craftsman, Steven Moran.
