Spam sites...
To the idiot who signed me up to f.r.e.e.i.p.o.d.s.com (name changed so as to not pop up in search engines), sorry, but they do send an e-mail to confirm. So, the attempt didn't work.

That's annoying ... I wonder if it is even a person doing such things, or just an automated web-bot.
Pleased to say I get surprisingly little spam on my "public" email address. The worst is the free one that comes with the cable account - and I don't even use that email! :(

How about this one...I got signed up on Careerbuilder.com. Who would spend the time to go to a site and enroll (address and all) and then use a "fake" email address? I have since been bombarded with emails to update my resume and all kinds of other stuff. Here is the clincher. You go to thier site to unenroll and it never processes through.
Amazing.
