| Home | The Shop Raymond Racing is located in Winchester, NH. The new race shop was built in 1998. Chris Raymond, is the crew chief, of the Roger Raymond Pro Stock #62. The race team is devoted to being able to doing everything in house. The shop has a paint booth, which is good to have when you are short track racing. There is nothing like keeping the dust and fumes out of the working area. We also installed a chassis and fabrication area. The overhead crane system is great for clipping a car. Having all the grinding, cutting, and welding equipment in the same area, helps to keep the shop clean. We also installed a tire spot to mount, dismount and size up tires. We all know how important it is to get the right set of tires.
We left a work area, where we can rebuild rear ends and transmissions, to work on the car and set it up. Everyone has a spot where they can do their job, and not interfere with anyone else. The last thing we put in our new building, was a new office. We needed a computer to build a new car, and a place to design, and keeps records. We converted to old race shop to our new engine shop. We don't have much machinery yet, but for now we do all that we can right here. |
