Our Mission

The Lucky Dog Poker Society was started January 2003, by a group of friends in a nickel/dime ring game format. It wasn't long before a tournament style was adopted and Texas Hold'em became the game of choice. Statistics were record on each player's placement, net profit, and number of wins. Using a formula developed to reward good play in bigger tournaments league rankings were developed. This web site was developed to encourage competition, allow for bragging rights, and to monitor one's progress.
