Meet Leut! | ||||
Well, it's me, of course. Laura K. Leuter, aka Leut. I'm a 25-year-old Jersey girl with a normal job and some strange hobbies... What seems like a million years ago, I was a little girl living in California reading a Reader's Digest when I discovered the legend of the Jersey Devil. It scared the hell out of me. I remember being frightened at the thought of returning to New Jersey because of this thing in the woods. Then it changed into more of an obsession than a fear. I had to know all I could about the subject. As a child, I was dying to go find the house foundation, but being the oldest daughter of three (all you girls out there can understand this) I knew there was NO WAY my parents would let me go running around in the woods at the age of 12... Probably a good idea, too. So I did all the book research I possibly could, with the hopes that one day I'd be on my own expeditions. And as you see, the dream came true. A few friends from work suggested we take them out after they opened the topic, "So what is the Jersey Devil?" From then on, the Devil Hunters were formed. That was May of 1999. So what else is there to the life of me? All sorts of fun and interesting stuff (I think). I'm the drummer of the band Adam's Ghost. I spent 6 years of my life saving other lives (or at least attempting to) as an Emergency Medical Technician in both New Jersey and New York. I'm a computer programmer (like my site? Want to hire me to design yours? E-mail me, we'll talk.) with a focus in web technology. I currently work in the financial industry and have a Series 7 & 66 license. And my sign is cancer... Now, keeping in tradition with all the past Leut bios (yay LJDP for the third major format!), here come the shameless plugs for what I love most... | ||||
