What do you think startled the Jersey Devil(s) out of hiding in 1909?
Hmm... Phenomenal Week is one of the most unexplainable things in New Jersey history ever. What made the Jersey Devil go nuts? Maybe overpopulation; maybe boredom; or perhaps curiosity. I don't really know, and I wish I did. And the worst part about it is that it happened so long ago - I can't find anyone who was old enough to remember the week and still exists in sound mind today.

Do any descendants of the Leeds family exist to this day?
Yeah, and at least 33,000 of them live in Leeds Point still... I don't know why Fox claimed that Harry was the last remaining descendant, that's the biggest crock I've heard yet. In fact, Harry's grandson was even interviewed and in that segment, yet they said Harry's the only one... OK. Just goes to prove that you can't trust television.

What does the Jersey Devil do to its victims/prey?
Well, he's not the cleanest of eaters... usually the bodies are shredded to bits, complete with a mess of blood surrounding it.

Do you guys ever dream about the Jersey Devil? If so, what were they?
Funny you asked. Yes, I've had Jersey Devil "dreams" and I'm not ashamed to admit that. J/K. Anyway, recently I had one where somehow I could fly, and I flew up above the tops of the trees and there it was - flying in the air, staring at me. It got mad though, and came towards me. I think it chased some people, and then VP Mike and I were yelled at - "You're the Devil Hunters, do something!" Then of course, the alarm woke me up and I had to go to work.

Are there any Native American stories similar to the Jersey Devil?
Actually, there are Native American legends describing the Jersey Devil. Yes folks, I hate to break it to you, but there are Jersey Devil reports dating back before 1735, the commonly accepted birthdate of the Jersey Devil. The Lenne Lenapes of the area called the Pine Barrens "Poppuessung", or "land of the dragon". I have yet to dig up the actual reports from them though. More info to come...

Do you have proof that these facts are true?
Not really, no. Yes, pictures exist. Yes, outstanding citizens and famous people have seen it. Yes, plaster casts exist of its strange footprints. Yes, there are thousands of repeated sightings describing the same features time and again. But there's nothing that can't be argued, and nothing that is 100% definitive yet. We're working on it though!

What made you want to do this?
Morbid curiosity, I guess. I wanted to know so bad that I was going to go find out for myself. No one else in the world seems to want to get any serious answers, so when you want something done, you gotta do it yourself. Besides, it's great to run an organization like this. We get to play with cool toys and have a great time doing it, while experiencing some pretty freaky, cool stuff. I don't know, maybe I'm a bit of a thrill-seeker to boot...

Has the Jersey Devil ever been linked to human deaths? If so, is it a danger if provoked?
In all my research, I have yet to come across a "death by Jersey Devil" report. If there are any, they've been well concealed by the police (and they do act pretty suspicious, so who knows?). But as far as I believe, no, there are no Jersey Devil - related deaths. However, I wouldn't provoke it, just to be on the safe side.

Do you believe the Jersey Devil is the son of Satan or sent from Satan to terrorize people?
No. Enough said.

If you find out that the Jersey Devil is actually all a myth, would you think you wasted all your time on research and hunts?
Well, nothing about this has been a waste to me, honestly. It's been something I love and a dream come true in a lot of ways. And if we ever manage to prove that it's only a myth, then we've done some serious research regarding the legend and how it came about. So no, I won't ever look back on this as a stupid idea or a waste of time. (Hey, it got me on national TV twice!)
