After graduation, we took the tour of the Patton Museum. Naturally, we stopped at the souvenir shop. I wasn't paying much attention to what Brian was doing and still didn't know what he had done when this shot was taken. I thought he just bought himself something. It wasn't until we walked outside that he presented his mother and I with coffee cups. The cups had the Museum Logo on them and one was labeled with MOM and the other with DAD. I didn't expect that. It was a very generous gesture on his part.
He'll probably be angry with me for displaying this photo, cause he wasn't too fond of the glasses the Army supplied him with. He referred to them as his 'Birth Control Glasses'. He figures with those on his face, his chances of getting a date were pretty slim.
