Welcome to my
Star Wars
site. I've put alot of cool things here, like digitally created
photoshop "mind
tricks", a Star Wars sound scheme for windows, deck plans
for the Star
Wars Role Playing Game (SWRPG), my Filemaker Pro multi-platform
compatable character sheet for the SWRPG, adobe acrobat printable
maps, stats on starships, vehicles, aliens and creatures, all for
the SWRPG by Wizards
of the Coast. Read my newspaper article here!
I was in the sunday edition on 05/15/05!
My name is Kurt and I live
on the east coast of the United States in New York (not the city) with my cat
Abby. I have been gaming for over 20 years and started with the D&D basic
system and went on from there to Traveller, Battletech, G.U.R.P.S., Call of Chutulu,
Skyrealms of Jorune, Rolemaster etc. and full circle back to Dungeons & Dragons
3rd edition and Star Wars! Pretty much you name it and I've gamed it. I've always
been a big starwars fan, since the movie came out, and it had no background music
to it! I also remember the days when those things at the end of the wings of an
x-wing fighter were targeting antennae and the lasers came out of the fuselage!
Just two of them at that time! Well it sure has come a long way since then. (am
I dating myself here?). Well I also get into console and computer gaming, Collectable
Card games and of course graphics and web design! Well now that I've dispensed
with the introductions please explore my site a bit! I hope you enjoy your stay
and feel free to leave comments in my guestbook...

A
few words about Steve Alongi, a friend of mine whom I have known for 22 years,
he was born on 10/26/66 and passed 04/15/05 at the age of 38. I met Steve at a
haunted house that our youth groups were running for charity. He was a real trip
then as he always has been. He was always quick to laugh and slow to anger. He
was always saying something funny and he lived life to it's fullest. Steve was
a very original person and had a strict moral code he followed, even though it
seemed that he followed no rules. He loved his cats and put thier care before
his own at times. Above all Steve was a good friend and I'm proud to have called
him my friend. I'll always remember us making tie dies together. He will be missed
by his numerous friends and his family. This qote by Albert Camus (1913 - 1960)
reminds me of how Steve was:
Don't
walk behind me, I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me,
I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.
