To be added to the list please contact The KHA Office. Members bare the sole responsibility to ensure their presence on the list. Water Shut Offs & Freeze Ups- Winter means the possibility of pipe freeze ups. A freeze up in an empty house where the water was left on can result in thousands of dollars of property damage. An undetected water leak means loss of association water resources, low water pressure and possible damage to our pumps and delivery systems. Do you know where your shut-off valve is? Is it well marked? Can you find it under 3 feet of snow? Do you take proper precautions to prevent pipe freeze ups? If you need help finding and marking your shut off valve, please ask Fred Fortier, KHA Manager. Volunteers Corner We all know that KHA is the best kept secret in Maine, But we think that the secret has leaked out!!! Welcome to all our new owners and all the area has to offer. The people who belong to KHA all share a common interest and have mutual objectives, that is we we want our association to flourish and maintain all its assets. We would like you to share your your talents and time to our community. Volunteers are a necessary part of any great community and we have a wealth of talent living here. Neighborhood Watch - We have been very fortunate to have minimal theft or vandalism in our community because we all look out for each other. If you see something suspicious don't hesitate to call the police. Your neighbor will thank you. You can also help us by reporting any water leaks. Winter freeze ups do occur. If you hear or see running water while on a walk, notify manager immediately. A leak found in time saves our water and could save your neighbor thousands of dollars in damage. Knights Hill Improvements - For your enjoyment and protecting your investment and improving your property values New Swimming Pool/Poolwinkle Improvements (Summer '05)- The original pool & kiddie pool was totally replaced.
