Massachusetts State Police SmartZone 01
To alleviate system overloading in the Boston area, a new parallel
SmartZone has be activated on the three metropolitan Boston sites
The Metropolitan District Commission (MDC), Mass Water Resources Authority
(MWRA), and Mass Convention Center Authority (MCCA) are in the process of
migrating from their old Type I system to this new Type II SmartZone.
MDC/MWRA Site Locations
The MDC/MWRA system is a four? site simulcast system assigned callsign
WNMJ500 and located in:
Arlington (Turkey Hill), Boston (One Ashburton Pl), Canton (Blue Hills),
and Stoneham
These four sites can be found on the map below:
