Big Sky country at it's best... Yellowstone National Park - September - 2000 |
| In September-2000, we were once again blessed with an opportunity to be together and share some close time and do some planning for the future. This time, we also spent a weekend at Yellowstone National Park. It has been almost two years now since we met in November of 1998. It is nearly impossible to explain all the changes that have occurred during that time. We have been together on the internet using ICQ just about every one of those days to 'chat'. This along with weekly phone calls and hundreds of emails have helped us grow so close yet still there is the need for the real visits and we have now been together seven different times for about a total of six weeks time. With each of those visits we get to know each other better and more and more now, it is starting to feel 'normal' and soon, we will be together and not just for a visit. We now have solid plans for living together next year. This last time together showed us what the future holds. We not only did some special things but also did a lot of the everyday things and even a few days at work. |

We stayed in the beautiful historic and rustic Old Faithful
Inn with timber-log construction and gorgeous furnishings. This was built
at the turn of the century and staying there was quite a treat!
Of course, there was the occasional bison roaming around on the grounds. In fact we saw bison and elk just about everywhere and even coyote. |

| The most famous feature in Yellowstone is "Old Faithful" geyser. It is but one of hundreds of natural geothermal features in the park. In addition to geysers shooting in to the air, we saw bubbling mud, boiling pools, roaring steam vents, and just about anything imaginable. Ken had been to the park many times and showed Jim around. |

Beautiful big blue sky and puffy clouds highlighted the beauty we found all around us. |

Here we are in an area called "FireHole" that is available for swimming if one likes. As you can see from the picture, it was a bit cool the day we were there but it was invigorating and great to be in the outdoors together. Do these guys look happy or what? It is difficult for us to be together and not radiate the love we feel for one another. It is reassuring to know that no matter what, we will always have that love. |

Once again, we enjoyed a lot of good eating. Here we are at the dining room of the Old Faithful Inn. It would seem that we both not only enjoy eating and dining out but also we both enjoy cooking. |
