ACTIVITY TITLE: BETTER LATE THAN NEVER-Mas vale tarde que nunca
SUBJECT AREAS: Spanish, Geography, Economy, Art, Meteorology
YOUR INVESTIGATION:
How often have you heard an adult regretfully say, I took four years of Spanish in school and can't speak a word of it? Well, you're about to come to the rescue of someone like that! Next month your aunt and uncle are planning a weekend trip to Madrid, Spain, to see the Prado Museum.
· Create a handy Phrase Book for them.
· Make a brief Fact Sheet about the Prado Museum.
· Don't forget a map of downtown Madrid!
If you would like, you can add graphics to make your Phrase Book and Fact Sheet more attractive.
QUESTIONS TO GUIDE YOU:
1. How much is the entrance fee to the Prado Museum?
2. What is a peseta (pta.) worth in American money?
3. When is museum admission free?
4. Suggest a museum activity.
5. How should your aunt and uncle pack for this weekend trip based on the climate and the activities planned?
6. Include a list of five items they could choose from to bring you as a souvenir!
