Your Investigation:
Your goal is to establish a utopia, a perfect society in which all would share equally and everyone would live in harmony. Knowing the frailties of human nature, you intend to incorporate the best features of past attempts to set up such a community and eliminate those that seemed to contribute to their failure.
Questions to Guide You:
1. Is there a setting particularly suited for the location of a utopian community? What features should it have?
2. Who would make up the community? Include ages, professions, nationalities, religions, ratio of sexes, etc.
3. What kind of government would the community have? How would decisions be made?
4. Would there be provisions for members to leave the community if they wished?
5. In social and personal areas, how would professions, mate selection, choice of dwelling, and family size be determined?
6. What arrangements would be made for those who are unable to work because of illness, handicap, or old age?
