The Earth Gate
is powering up...it begins a low hum...the future or the past is just a heart beat
away. You are about to enter on your journey through time...but wait! Something is coming through from the other side!!
You stare in disbelief...it is an ancient Mayan warrior, leaping through the Earth Gate.
This is an anthropologist's dream...
a live being from the ancient Mayan world. He will have tales and stories beyond imagination.
Tell of this Mayan's visit to your laboratory. What wonders of his
culture does he share with you. Construct one of the items he talks about and demonstrate a "how-to-do" from his culture.
QUESTIONS TO ANSWER:
- How did the Mayan mathematics system work? Demonstrate.
- What was the form that the Mayan Calendar took? Demonstrate.
- What was their system of writing? Demonstrate.
