The 1960's

The Mansfield Hornets opened the decade with back to back seven win seasons with Ron Gentili as the teams bruising running back, but only had three winning seasons the rest of the decade.  With Robert Souza leading the ground attack Mansfield shared the Hockomock Championship three ways in 1968.  In 1969 the Hornets season ended winless for the first time in 20 years. The losing streak would continue into the mid 1970's.  For the decade Mansfield finished 43-42-3 (.506)
