D.A.R.E. is a drug & violence prevention education program that began in Los Angeles in 1983 and has spread across our nation and found its way to our city of Gloucester.

The Gloucester Police D.A.R.E. program is run by Officer Wellesley Eastman, a 20yr veteran of the police department, which 9yr has been with the D.A.R.E. program.

The Gloucester Police D.A.R.E. program are taught in grades 3^rd - high school. Upon request, we at times find our program in pre-school and kindergarten.
