Who, What, When, Where & Why
The Person Behind The Brush

I have been painting figures now since
1979. Many people know me as the guy behind Fort Duquesne Military
Miniatures. That is all history now and I have gone back to actually
painting and creating these little gems.
I live in Buffalo, New York with my
girlfriend Michelle and our Boston Terrier "Nipsey".
Both of them humor and support me. I have a beautiful daughter
named Sara who always gets a kick out of "Daddy's little
men". I hope she knows she is the best thing I've ever been
involved with.
My main area's of interest are Middle
Eastern and Far Eastern subjects, both for their exotic nature
and colorful presence. I am also a huge fan of Romans and their
enemies, as well as WWII German subjects. I will paint anything
that I feel is artistic as is shown by the broad range of subject
matter found in my gallery. My influences include Greg DiFranco,
Peter Twist, Mike Good, Derek Hansen and just about anyone who
can breath life into these little figures. Greg DiFranco is my
biggest influence, not only due to his own work but for the support
and unselfish advice he has given me over the years.
I hope you will find things that interest
as well as inspire you. This is a great hobby. both educational
and creative. Feel free to e-mail me pics of your work and most
importantly, HAVE FUN!!
