Membership Info
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the club can visit the flying field located off of Eighth St in West Wyoming. Please call one of the contacts for directions.
All prospective members will be able to participate in a instructor led introductory flight. We do advise anyone interested to familiarize themselves with the basic operation of an R/C flight transmitter. Basically you need to know how the elevator and aileron sticks operate in order to turn the plane and ascend or descend. You do NOT need to know how to fly. Just the basic up, down, left and right. You will be connected to an instructor at all times. He has ultimate control, but can allow you to operate the aircraft thru a "buddy" box. You need nothing for this flight except your eagerness to learn and enjoy.

These are some requirements if you decide to become a member of the Fun Flyers:
1) You must become and stay a current member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, as long as you are a flight club member. This is required for anyone using the air field.

2) Members pay dues of $10 a month. Senior Citizens and Junior members, those 15 and younger pay $5 a month. Dues are for the upkeep of the flying field.
3) You must be trained to operate a radio controlled aircraft in a safe manner, following all AMA and PA Fun Flyers Club rules. They are simple straight forward rules designed for the enjoyment and safety of all members and spectators.
4) A flight instructor must always be present during your training and a new member cannot fly solo until the flight instructor has "signed off" on the trainee's skills. The flight instructor will advise club council when the trainee is flight ready, at which time you will be awarded your "wings".
5) You must be able to have fun. This club is here for the enjoyment of all flyers and spectators.
