America is that no one respects the law there. So everyone lives in fear there. I just read about a boy in England who was warned 943 times. The United States of America was built on the ten commandments. The Constitution, the Preamble and the Bill of Rights taken from the Bible gave great freedom, especially not making laws to take our religion from us or to limit it. Today, they think it is the freedom from religion or separation of church and state. Sin has brought reproach upon America and God says in II Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Some Presidents, congressmen and local politicians want to throw the Bible out, throw prayer out and gut the constitution of morals and integrity. God has kept America free and we have won many impossible victories. When Gen. George Washington knelt in prayer at Valley Forge with a ragtag Army of hungry and freezing soldiers, God led him in the Battle of Trenton and America was born because of a man who prayed. Fourth, righteousness exalteth itself over sin. Proverbs 14:34b, but sin is a reproach to any people. Look at Israel in defeat by one giant. They forgot God had given them other victories. Their sin was simply not trusting God to fight the battle. However, one little shepherd boy, David, who was in his teens did not forget God. He could not believe they could not trust God to give them victory. David knew where the victory came from when he faced the lion and the bear all alone. He also knew that God was the one who had won the battle. David was not afraid to face this giant because he knew it was the Lord's battle. We will all face giants in our life, but if God be for us who can dare be against us? (Romans 8:31) God will get us through and He will supply all our need according to His riches in glory. God will equip us to do His will in our life. Look at America. It is our choice. Will you take the road to freedom in Heaven or will you take the road to defeat in Hell? Religion is bringing down America. Too many preachers and religious hierarchy are living in terrible sin. They forget the power of God or probably never knew it. Fifth, righteousness exalteth a nation when Jesus Christ is exalted to glory. For 195 years God was exalted in America. We had freedom of religion. Now, people have freedom from religion. How long can it be until "In God We Trust" comes off our coins. Jesus Christ was exalted. Now false Gods are worshipped. The average pastor does not even believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Few ever give an invitation to be saved or anything else. Unthinkable things are happening since Christ is being torn down. Blasphemous paintings of Christ; Christ is maligned in everything. Morals are gone. Sexual language is the norm today, less marriage than ever, murders and rapes in schools and colleges, drug addicts and the murdering of 1.5 million babies a year, police in schools. It's time to put Jesus Christ back in charge. Christ exalts a nation, a people, a marriage, a family and a church. A poor man started attending a church. Finally, he decided to join the church. He asked the pastor about it. "Oh, no, you have to be from a prominent family." As he walked out sadly, the Lord whispered to him, "I've been trying to join that church. That's o.k., son, they won't let me in either." Look at the Record The Capitol Every session of the House and Senate begins with prayer. The 83rd Congress set aside a small room in the capitol, just off the rotunda, for the private prayer and meditation of members of Congress. The room's focal point is a stained glass window showing George Washington kneeling in prayer. Behind him is etched these words from Psalm 16:1: "Preserve me, O God, for in Thee do I put my trust." The Supreme Court Above the head of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court are the Ten Commandments. The crier who opens each session closes with these words, "God save the United States and the Honorable Court." The Washington Monument Engraved on the metal cap on the top of the Washington Monument are the words: "Praise be to God." Lining the walls of the stairwell are such biblical phrases as "Search the Scriptures," "Holiness to the Lord," "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." The Library of Congress Numerous quotations from Scripture can be found within its walls. One reminds each American of his responsibility to His Maker: "What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly and love mercy and walk humbly with thy God." (Micah 6:8) Lincoln Memorial Millions have stood in the Lincoln Memorial and gazed up at the statue of the great Abraham Lincoln. The sculptor who chiseled the features of Lincoln in granite all but seems to make Lincoln speak his own words inscribed into the walls. "...that this Nation, under God, shall have a new birth, of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth."
Dad may be saved, Mom may be saved and the children may be saved. But until you make some Bible-based decisions about what happens at your house, you still do not have a Christian home. -Dr. Richard Dion When you get away from God you can find your way back - on your knees. -Tom Malone When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing - they believe in anything. -G.K.
