West Express Station 34 is
located at the cross roads of the county. Just west of the Florida
Turnpike and just south of State Road 80/US 98. Station 34 is
Battalion 3 Headquarters and has a Battalion Chief, District
Chief, an Engine, Rescue, Brush, and Light/Air support
unit. Centrally located protecting parts of these major roadways
as well as the South Florida Fair and Expo grounds, numerous large
apartment complexes, senior condo complexes, gated communites,
light to medium commercial/industrial complexes, a gas pipe line, a
high school, a middle school and three elementry schools. We also
back up three busy stations that surround our area as well as
PBIA.
Station 34 is part of the Palm Beach County's Fire Rescue
Department. With 42 Stations serving a population of 691,529
and 550 square miles of unincorporated Palm Beach County, plus
contracts for specific services in: Glades area, Martin County, Cloud
Lake, Glen Ridge, Haverhill, Jupiter, Juno Beach, Lake Clarke Shores,
Lake Park, Lantana, Manalapan, Royal Palm Beach, South Palm Beach and
Wellington. Also: Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, Pahokee, Belle Glade,
North Palm
