Over the years, I've been able to visit some
interesting places on the planet. I regret that some of these locales are
no longer as friendly toward American tourism as they have been, but I expect
some return to normalcy down the road. Ultimately, traveling can broaden
and deepen a person's perspective in many fine ways. One can be struck simultaneously
by the unfamiliarity of a different culture, and yet impressed by the
commonalities found in all cultures.

Future Plans
For now, we seem to focus
more on vacations than on travel. Busy lives need respites of sun, sand,
and umbrella drinks. For that reason, our new favorite destination is The
Kona Village Resort on the big island of Hawaii. We've been about four
times in the last few years, and I have a feeling we'll be heading back fairly
soon.
Thanks for visiting.
