This is an old site that amazingly persists, even though I have changed service providers.  My new site is located at http://mysite.verizon.net/resnvn2j/index.html .  I welcome your visit there.

With that said, these links fulfill the "personal page" mandate for revealing character aspects that make the web so entertaining overall.

First, I should explain that in the photo above, I am standing on the foredeck of the Motoryacht Carol Ann II.  I was the proud owner of this vessel from 2001 to 2006.  You can take a better look here, at  Carol Ann II .

More importantly, my recent involvement with my home city of La Habra has been profoundly gratifying.  Although I have served as President of my homeowners association for many years, I have expanded my involvement within the greater community since January of 2005, and currently serve as a Planning Commissioner.  (I should explain that my family has used a variant spelling of my surname in the past, so within my community, I have adopted "Nisarian" for its comparative ease.)  For an outline of my recent activities, please visit City of La Habra .

I also offer the following-- although my friends may want to disabuse me of this, I feel that I enjoyed a moment of accomplishment several decades ago which occupies a very small place in Los Angeles radio history.  I hosted the public-affairs show, Our Time is Now, on K-ROQ 106.7 FM when I was about 18.  The show ran between 1978 and 1979. For a short sketch of this unique story, I welcome your visit to the Wild Child.

The extent to which each of us has explored our world also gives insight. On a page titled, "On the Road," I make note of how travel can broaden and deepen our perspectives. The rest of the page is, admittedly, self-absorbed-- but that's what a personal page is all about.  Find it at Travel.

The Nigsarian Genealogy link follows. Surely, it's only intended for those with intense academic interest in such things, (i.e., friends and family members whom I've compelled to visit) and it can be found at Nigsarian Genealogy.

I can be reached at denisarian@verizon.net
