Career diplomat with 21 years of professional experience both in different Ministry of Foreign Affairs structures and Bulgarian diplomatic missions abroad:
1986 – 1987 Attaché, Embassy of Bulgaria, Brussels (Belgium);
1989 – 1990 Third Secretary, Embassy of Bulgaria, Conakry (Guinea);
1991 – 1994 Second Secretary and Consul, Embassy of Bulgaria, Brussels (Belgium);
1998 – 2002 First Secretary, Mission of Bulgaria to NATO and WEU, Brussels (Belgium); Over the last two years working in Sofia as Head, Euro-Atlantic Cooperation and Regional Security Department, NATO and International Security Directorate, MFA.
July 14, 2005 - Appointed by the Council of Ministers as Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Los Angeles (California, United States of America).
September 5, 2005 – Took office as Consul General, with a Consular District covering 11 US States, including Alaska and Hawaii.
