Kentucky Railway Museum

The Kentucky Railway operates about a ninety minute excursion departing from New Haven, Kentucky. They normally run diesel, but on select Weekends they run a one-hundred year old Pacific Class locomotive. The ride is fun and entertaining. The people are very nice and the surrounding area is beautiful. We drove down for an overnight trip and rode the train twice. The second trip I purchased a cab ride for myself and the kids. They took turns. Kaitlyn rode up front with me to the layover then they switched and Connor rode up front for the trip back. They both thoroughly enjoyed the ride which made me feel pretty good.  There really isn't too much around the immediate area except for the train unless you're into Cival War type stuff. Quite a bit of history there in that department. At any rate, this place is well worth a visit and I hope to visit again.
