New Hope and Ivyland Railroad

The New hope and Ivyland Railroad is located in New Hope, Pennsylvania on the
Pa./N.J. border about and hour northeast of Philadelphia. New Hope is a very touristy
town well known for being a popular antique hot spot. Here you can rub elbows with some
very snobby New Jersey types. What fun! The railroad operates about an hour long ride
through Bucks County along the same route used in the movie "The Perils of Pauline."
We have been there a couple times but only as a stop on part of another trip (i.e.
Steamtown or Strasburg) There isn't much else there to keep me interested. Don't
let that stop you, though. The ride is nice and scenic. The operation and condition
of the railroads equipment is very nice as well.
