The Idea to hold an Ohio Gathering came from my friend Becky a couple years ago on the Chainmaille Bulletin Board. After Lord Charles had started holding his annual gatherings at his house in Springfield Mo., there were lots of people wanting to meet other maillers, but couldn't make the pilgrimage to LC's. Thus, Gatherings are popping up all over!
The majority of people attending are those who are already making maille, and are members of one of the three big maille message boards. This year we have alot of returning members, quite few new members, and an almost equal amount of non-members who are either maillers or want to learn. Basically we will be spending a weekend teaching each other new weaves, making maille of all sorts, and just generally getting to know each other and goofing off! BUT,if you would like to spend a weekend learning to make maille, this is the place to be!
This year it's all about hanging out with friends, making new ones, and just relaxing. No classes, demonstrations, or good intentions of other activities that go sour. Make maille, eat food, watch some movies and enjoy the good company. :D

The next one is of the main highways around chillicothe with the exits marked and landmarks to help you navigate. The last is more detailed on how to get to the rec center once you get to chillicothe and take the Bridge street exit.
