Sandy Megas is now PayPal Verified

Sandy is now PayPal verified and his website has been upgraded to allow visitors the option of purchasing his music, directly from the site, using their credit or debit cards. This will make it much more convenient, for those of you out there that enjoy Sandy's creativeness, to get your hands on his arrangements. Of course you can still contact him to purchase by check or money order and request commissions. This is an exciting event for Sandy and I am sure it will allow him wider exposure in the business of music publishing. If you enjoy Sandy's music, you can check out the new website. The Yuma County Music Educators Website is beginning to take shape

The Yuma County Music Educators Association (YCMEA) is beginning to make its presence known with its new website. The new website will allow members to register for all festivals and honor groups online, as well as give them a place to post vital information about their specific areas of expertise. All of the registration forms are available and ready for use. As soon as the names of this years officers and festival chairs are available they will be posted on the site with contact information. The Yuma County Music Educators Forums allow members and non-members to discuss issues and voice their opinions on subjects related to them or anything for the good of the order. A place is available to post slide shows and the opening page is designed to display new and current events. There are also several links to valuable music education sites listed on the front page of the website. We are still in need of information for the bulk of the individual pages ie: Band, Choral, Orchestra and General Music, so please help us fill out the website and remove the "Under Construction" pages so the site may be submitted to search engines for addition into their indexes. I, for one, find this an exciting additional resource for the Yuma County Music Educators and hope to see this website used to it fullest potential. CAP Music site hacked by Phishers (the contact link has been fixed)

My CAP Music site was hacked into a couple of days ago by some nasty people looking to gather Bank of America customer information. I was sent into total shock while checking my logs and finding out that some had placed 3 folders entitled "www.bankofamerica.com" in 3 different places on my server. In the folder were links to bogus sign on and change your info pages. Also among my files were 2 other bogus files entitled mayer.php and images.php. I have gone on a massive IP deny for that site, so if you visit and get a "403 Denied by server configuration" error and feel that you should be allowed access, send me an email from the contact link below and I will fix it so you can access the page. InMotion hosting has assured me that it will take the fall if Bank of America decides to come down on anyone about this. After all it was their security that let this happen. It appears through IP traces that the hackers were either in Egypt or running through an anonymous proxy server that was based in Egypt. I did look at the mayer.php file and noticed that the language used in the file was Spanish, not Egyptian, so it is anyone's guess as to where the hackers are actually located. InMotion said they had to gain access as "root" users so it appears that it was definitley a lapse in their security. Bank of America has been by my site several times, but I have removed all of the files and they get "404 Page not found" errors when they look for the pages. I deleted the pages according to InMotion's directions. It looks as if the perpetrators had sent out phishing emails, because I was receiving hits referred from yahoo, aol and juno email accounts. I have also noticed some IP addresses that were looking specifically for those pages in all locations, hopefully it was the bad guys looking to see why they weren't getting what they were hoping for. Please contact me from the link below if you have been denied access and would like to visit the page. This denial affects all sites hosted on that server, including the store, capmusic.net, and ycmea.org. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and truly hope that no one from Bank of America has been injured by this senseless and malicious act.
