| This was a
neat find. The original marble sink from when Laura's room was the master bedroom. The
sink is in an alcove created by the addition of closets on the west wall of her room. The
stairs to the 2d Floor bath are at bottom right.
The fireplace in Laura's Bedroom. Probably beautiful under the pinkish paint. Of course the tiles would have been nice as well. |
 We think this is an original fireplace hiding in one of Laura's closets. Likely from early in the house's history.

 This is the same corner after demolition. Instead of a narrow vestibule, it will now be a nice open area for a built in set of shelves or hutch. Below are these same closets with drywall.

To the left is the corner with
the sink before demolition. The framing indicates
the door on the right and the sink were later additions even than the closets.
