The
Blue Gentian Lodge is actively participating with the Vermont
Small Business Development Center and the Agency of Natural Resources
in a statewide environmental program designed to help keep Vermont
‘GREEN’. We believe it is our responsibility to create
the least amount of pollution possible. We consider this responsibility
a ‘life-style’ for ourselves, as well as for our business.
Recycling is something we choose to think about and participate
in everyday. We are always striving to find yet another way to
help Mother Nature. Here are ways you can help during your stay.
Please make a neat pile of the following recyclable items in your
room so we can pick them up each day, or deliver them to us by
placing them on the kitchen counter.
Newspapers
Cans and Bottles
Aluminum
Magazines
Corrugated cardboard
Chipboard (non corrugated cardboard) like pizza boxes
Clear & White plastics (#1 and #2)
Compostable food scraps (no meat, no bones, no dairy)
Plastic grocery bags
Paper bags
