Parish Organizations & Committees

As a parish, we work to put our vision into being through the efforts of our various organizations and committees.

The Marian Club is the parish Women's organization.  All Women of the Parish are eligible for membership and participation.

Women's Ministry is a small group ministry that meets on Wednesday evenings for women to share conversation and prayer about the happenings in their lives.  Single women, young mothers, grandmothers, any and all are welcome to discover how the Catholic Faith and their daily lives meet.

Knights of Columbus, Council #721. Council Hall, 80 North Avenue, Newark (349-9349).  Adult Men who are practical Catholics are eligible for this fraternal organization.

The Saint Vincent dePaul Society.  All who wish to participate in this charitable and spiritual organization are welcome.

An Appeal to the Men of Blessed Sacrament Parish:  Our Parish Men's organizations have been inactive for a while.  There is interest in renewing efforts to meet for spiritual and personal growth as Christian men, husbands, fathers and disciples of the Lord.  Please let us know of your willingness to be involved.

Gift Bearers to bring forward the gifts of bread and wine at the Preparation of the Gifts.  Often families volunteer to do this together as a sign of family unity.  As you come to Mass, let the ushers know you and your family are available to carry the gifts.
