Doug Mayer, three local residents with a strong love of the outdoors,
great coffee, and wholesome foods! |

Together, Matt and Jenna have a combined 23 years of experience in both baking and mountain hospitality. Matt and Jenna met while Matt was leading volunteer trail crews out of AMC's Camp Dodge backcountry volunteer facility. Jenna baked and cooked hearty meals for the many trail crew volunteers. |

Later, Matt and Jenna purchased the "Jackson Village Bakery & Café" (aka "As You Like It Bakery & Café"), in nearby Jackson, N.H. and have run it successfully for the past 4 years. Jenna is an expert baker and renowned wedding cake designer. She takes special pride in her handmade scones, cookies and cakes. |

Matt is the founder of the Mount Washington Valley Velo Bicycling Club, musician in a local band, a former Harvard Cabin Caretaker, and ex-AMC Construction Crew Manager. Matt and Jenna are both avid cyclists, cross country skiers, technical rock and ice climbers, and hikers. |

Doug Mayer has a long association with the White Mountains, having worked at the Mount Washington Observatory and the Randolph Mountain Club. He currently serves as Trails Co-Chair of the Randolph Mountain Club, is on the board of the Waterman Alpine Stewardship Fund, and is an active wilderness EMT with AVSAR, the local mountain rescue team. Doug enjoys trail running, backcountry skiing, kayaking, hiking and cycling. | ||||||
