I have located what appears to be the descendants of our ancestral Lynches in Annageliffe. I received a response to one of eight letters sent to Lynches in Annageliffe from a Frances Lynch in the townland of Drumoughra. She appears to be about 50, living with her dad and a 92 year old grandmother. The grandmother thinks we are linked. There is a cousin in Dublin who is apparently the family historian and has some information which I should be seeing in a week or so.
I mae the contact by combining the information on "seanraud" 's site of townland maps with an international phone book listing of Lynches in the specific townlands. Kinda laborious, but paid off nicely. Best regards Byrne (Lynch) Stoddard New Haven fbstoddard@snet.net
