NGC7331

NGC 7331 is a galaxy located in the constellation of Pegasus . It is a galaxy very similar in appearance to M31 in Andromeda just smaller and farthur away . In this integration of six 60 second exposures with an MX7c and Celestron 11" scope many other galaxies are also visible ! NGC 7331 is easily visible in small scopes as an elongated smudge of light with some detectable dark lanes depending on the size of the scope and sky conditions ! This LRGB image was taken at f3.3 with the above mentioned equipment using AstroArt 2.0 and Star 2000 to guide the scope ! All processing was done in AA 2.0 including dark frame subtraction and combining of the Luminance frame with the Red,Green & Blue.
