NGC 246

            NGC246 is a large planetary nebula located in the constellation Cetus ! It appears as a large dim blob of light in small scopes in the 6" to 8" range and shows just a little stucture in the 11" scope ! Its size is recorded as 4'X3.5' in Skymap Pro .This image is an integration of 5 - 4 minute exposures with an MX7c ccd camera and 11"scope using AstroArt 2.0 and the Star 2000 self guide interface.All processing was done in AA 2.0 including flat and dark frame subtraction ! AA 2.0 includes an LRGB function which is very usefull to create and combine red,blue,green and luminance frames !
