M14

A 20X60 second LRGB of the globular cluster M14 taken with an 11" scope and MX7c ccd camera at f3.0 . AstroArt 3.0 was used to capture and process the images. The globular is located in the constellation of Ophiuchus and is a nice smattering of stars in small scopes with a fairly dense nucleus visually. An 11" scope brings out some of the outer regions in this cluster which are apparent in this composite. The scope and camera were guided with Star 2000 utilizing the ability of interlaced ccd chips to image and guide at the same time .
