M13 "The Great GlobularCluster "

An LRGB of M13 the "Great Northern Globular " as it is called by some is a huge conglomerate of stars located in the Hercules constellation ! it is visible as a smudge of light with the naked eye and is easily seen in binnoculars ! This image is an integration of four, four minute exposures using an MX7c ccd camera, Celestron Ultima 11" scope and Star 2000 self guiding interface at f3.0 ! The image was taken from my home observatory in Colchester,VT with moderate light polutuion and a 3/4 phase moon ! The four images were combined and dark frame subtracted using AstroArt 2.0 . The final composite of the color and luminance frames was done using Iphoto Plus software !
