Comet Hyacutake

Comet Hyacutake imaged on the 26th of March 1996 in close proximity to Polaris the "North Star". The moon was quite bright during this exposure so I darkened it a little for contrast. The exposure was taken with my 35mm camera riding piggyback on my 8" Schmidt Cassegrain for 13 min. on Kodak Gold 400 .The further away the stars are from Polaris the more they trail.
