ok here i will tell you what media i currently use. for CDR i use taiyo yudens.  for DVDR i use 4x DVD-R taiyo yudens. Taiyo yuden is in the top 3 if not #1 Media Brand.  i get my CDR and DVDR from  Rima

Sup= Superb(usually soundboard)   Ex = Excellent   Vg = Decent Recording    P = Poor(crappy sound/collectors only)
