Summer Celebration - Buckeye Woods Park - 4 to 8 p.m. Join us at Buckeye Woods Park for some good quality family fun and to celebrate the Year of the Frog at our 3rd annual Summer Celebration! Enjoy music and stories by Foster Brown, meet an animal keeper from the Cleveland Zoo, see live snakes and frogs, and make and fly your own kites. There will also be games, crafts, inflatable, food and more! Don’t miss this one! Buckeye Woods Park is located on State Route 162, one-half mile east of Rt. 42 in Lafayette Township.

A special program at Silver Springs Park at 5027 Stow Road In Stow by the Campground off Young Road. The Ohio Society For the Elevation of Kites returns to Stow once again to put on an extravaganza of high flying kites. A workshop on kite construction will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by a wind sprint contest.Prizes will be awarded. Cost for the workshop is $3.00 per child.
