1/28/07  Ryan had some fun right under our noses!
He took the marker to his face.  Thank God for washable markers.

2/07  Sharp little guy                                                   Ryan can open the fridge all by himself.  Of course, he
chose to grab himself a juice box.

Ryan has found his voice this month.  He has started singing more and more songs.  Some he can make up on his own.
Barney's "I love You" song comes complete with a "great big hug" and "a kiss from me to you."

Mostly, we have noted an improvement in conversations.  Talking about the day or yesterday or even tomorrow.
He still talks about his trip to an ice hockey game in January.  They had fireworks that Ryan did not like at all.
He'll tell you that they don't have fireworks at basketball games.  (Derrick took him to his first basketball game a couple weeks ago.)
At the Celtics game Ryan liked the popcorn most of all.  He told me he went to a party.
Ryan did go to a couple friend's birthday parties recently.  He only ate the frosting off the cake pieces.

Our little techie can now operate the TV, VCR and DVD player.  He can change the movies at will but needs help with the play and sound.
The other morning, he said to me, "I need to check my e-mail."  That was off the charts!!

Things in the house have gradually been moving higher and higher as Ryan has been using his stool to reach the light switches and countertops.
I wonder if the neighbors have noticed a light show over here every night for past couple of weeks.  Oh, well.  He's learning "On" and "Off".

Ryan just recovered from his 1st illness since May 2006.  He had cough, runny nose, fever, an ear infection, and puking.  He missed 3 days of school.

As you can see, there have been less pictures lately.  This is because every time we get the camera out, Ryan wants to either take the picture or see himself in the window.  We'll resume the pictures as soon as possible.
