We finally have a
fence! Why did we wait so long? And
notice the driveway is paved.
After 9 years of gravel this is another one of those "why did we wait"
things!
The girls have loved riding bikes and playing in the
driveway.
The first week it was every color of the rainbow as we pulled out the
chalk. :)
As I said before Katie and Lizzie just love to play
outside. and the dogs like the fence too!

Happy Birthday America!
Katie turns 5!
Where has the time gone? Our little girl is growing into a
beautiful young lady.

We had a RED, WHITE and BLUE birthday party at the lake over the
4th of July weekend with her classmates and friends.
What a great swing! Think we need to sign Katie up for
T-Ball next spring :)
That was one tough pinata.
It fell off the rope but never really cracked after many hard whacks!
Of course Lizzie thought it made the perfect hat!
Fourth of July 2005

Late afternoon we headed to town for the parade down Main
Street.
The girls really enjoyed the parade.
Later we headed over to the park where they had games, food and
music.
At nightfall we watched the firework show. The girls really loved
the fireworks and kept wanting more :)

They really had fun with their glow sticks, making necklaces, bracelets
and even sunglasses.
